Waiting for a package today within an hour slot window, so I thought i'll make a cuppa when I got an email through on my phone saying i had missed my delivery, my kitchen is right next to my front door and I had heard nothing, this being 10 minutes into my slot window, immediately I went to the door and had no sign of a delivery note of any sort, i live on a building site so i asked the builders if they had seen a DPD van, which they hadn't. I then went on to ring about my "missed parcel" stating i couldn't pick it up as i have no delivery note and therefore had no proof or evidence that the driver had even been this morning, they put me through to another department, which put me through to customer care. I think they had just had enough of listening to me when they decided just to give me the depot number. I went on the ring them... which turned out to be interlink and stated they had no connection with DPD and do not deal with them, Thats awfully odd when their customer care line had just contacted you and you said that you were expecting my call.

After 2 hours of trying to find my parcel they said they would re-deliver it at some point today, because of the inconvenience as a gesture of good will.

Or you could just do your job.

I'd like to thank DPD for one thing and one thing only. Employing drivers who consistently lie about deliveries. A classic example today. I live at the end of a cul de sac and today got up before the sun came up to work on the front of my house. I went back in around 5pm to be greeted with an email from DPD saying, "Sorry we missed you". How the fuck could you miss me you incompetent loons? You never even drove my road let alone got off your pikey van to attempt delivery! I bet you still got paid for your day deliveries though and my Saturday delivery cost me extra may as well just thrown that money away! Wish me luck phoning dpd on Monday reading about them on other forums I think someone is going to get my wrath if I can finally get through to someone human.

PAY EXTRA AND USE ANOTHER COURIER!

useless, rip off, paid for an item to be next day delivery, the shop used these muppets waited in for the delivery, my wife saw the van pull up outside by the time she got her keys and to the door she opened the door and the van was driving off, the guy just stuck a calling card through the door without knocking or waiting 30seconds, probably a rip off to get people to pay to upgrade the delivery, this was a gift for christmas so dissapointed and disgusted with their bad practise - ADVISE TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS - USE ANOTHER COURIER
